To further outreach and engagement with our alumni, The Office of Development at Furman has launched a new program with current students at the helm. These students will act as Student Donor Experience Officers, known as SDXOs, and will introduce opportunities to engage and connect with Furman post-graduation.

About

• Are you interested in connecting with your academic department, finding fellow Furman alumni in your area, or supporting current students but don’t know where to start? Our SDXOs can help! Our team of Furman students is well-equipped in the various resources and opportunities available to Furman alumni and will happily bridge the gap between our on-campus happenings and your areas of interest.
• Meeting with an SDXO also gives you the chance to update your information in our alumni database, share about your unique experience on campus, and  allow us to understand what you would like your relationship with Furman to look like going forward.

Mission

• Your journey with Furman does not end after you graduate. The Furman SDXO Program aims to enhance our connection with Young Alumni and learn more about your pathway post-graduation. We want to be a resource for you as you navigate life after college, and to make sure you still feel connected to the place you called “home”.
• Our SDXOs goal is to connect you with the projects you’re passionate about at Furman. Your investment in Furman’s people and programs ensures The Furman Advantage is available for generations to come.
