Why Furman? Furman has helped me come out of my shell and find passions of mine I didn't know I had. The community I have formed at Furman is like nothing I have ever experienced before; I feel like I belong all the time and that my voice matters. I chose Furman because of how small it is. I love that I can have a conversation with my professors like normal people, and that I can still look to them as a respectable figure to lean on for help. I also chose Furman because of the amount of acceptance and open-mindedness that floods campus.
Fun Fact: About 90% of my wardrobe and decorations for my dorm is thrifted/second-hand. I also have an orange cat named Sunny!
