Why Furman? I chose Furman because of the rigorous academic community but also the wide range of extracurricular activities I could get involved with. I enjoy trying new things and I felt as though Furman would give me that space to do just that.
Which professor has made the biggest impact on you while at Furman, and why? I believe Dr. Erin Hahn has made the biggest impact on my Furman experience. She had a way of making the class interesting and engaging all while teaching skills and techniques that I will use for my future career. For every question that I had, she supplied an answer.
What is your favorite Furman memory? My favorite Furman memory was when I helped host my first TEDxFurmanU conference in 2019. It was amazing seeing all the work our organization put into making the conference a success, all while engaging our school-wide and Greenville community. I was grateful to have such an important and impactful role my first year at Furman.
What is your favorite thing spot/activity to do in Greenville? My favorite spot in Greenville is a cute coffee shop, called "Spill the Beans". I enjoy the chill and relaxing vibe, as well as their delicious ice cream. My family and I always go when they come and visit.
In my spare time I like to... Volunteer my extra time to make the world a better place.
