Why Furman? It’s not why Furman, it’s why I stay at Furman. I stay here because my professors are not just the people who lecture at the front of the room and don’t know your name-- they know who you are and they want you to succeed. I stay at Furman because of the friendships I have made; my friends here are truly family. I have loved every moment I have had here at Furman, and I stay because of all the amazing experiences I have had!

What has been your favorite class?  My favorite class at Furman has been Latin American philosophy. I love this class because it opened my mind to different ideas and thoughts. I loved being able to take one place and go into detail about its culture and heritage. I loved learning about different philosophers' ideas about the injustices in the past and present world.

What is your favorite spot/thing to do in Greenville? I love football and hockey!

What is your favorite Furman memory? My faviorite Furman memories are probably trips around the campus on my friend's golf cart. We call them lip laps, and we just cruise around talking, laughing, exploring and taking breaks form the busy Furman lifestyle.

In my spare time I like to...  Hang out with my friends, listen to music, eat good food, explore and travel.
