David serves as the president of Koch Investment Management and a vice president of Koch Industries, Inc. His primary responsibilities include asset management companywide, resulting in the investment of company liquidity and management of the company’s pension and defined contribution plans.

Prior to his current role, David served as the treasurer for Koch Industries, Inc. for 15 years. In this role, he was responsible for global cash management, foreign currency, investment management and all capital markets activity. Before joining Koch in 2005, David worked for Bank of America for 15 years in the Commercial Banking division.

David graduated from Furman University in 1989 and was a member of the men’s soccer team. He and his wife Susan (Furman ’89) have three children: Emery (Furman ’19), Riley and Wyatt. David and Susan are active members of Newspring Church in Wichita and focus most of their philanthropic endeavors on supporting people with disabilities and faith-based youth organizations.
