"I love Furman! As a relatively small institution, I appreciate the sense of community especially being a long way from home. My absolute joy at Furman so far has been engaging in student life. As a member of the Shucker Leadership Institution, I get to explore my passions, values, and strengths as a person and leader. I also get to build connections with other Shucker fellows who share a common goal of positively impacting society. Through the Office of Spiritual life, I get strengthen my faith. Through cultural life programs, I get to have fun and learn about issues relevant to society from different perspectives. Furman offers endless support and opportunities for students to learn and thrive."
