Prior to joining Furman in 2003, Charmaine Moore served as the Assistant Director of Georgia’s pioneering HOPE Scholarship Program. While serving in that capacity, she was responsible for the development and implementation of an undergraduate and graduate teacher scholarship program. In her role at Furman, she tracks student progress on their journey to becoming a teacher from admission into the teacher education program through program completion; advises on program and state licensure requirements; and supports the regular data collection for state and federal reports, including preparing the federally-mandated Title II report, an annual report card of educator preparation programs. During her tenure at Furman, she has been a part of three successful, continuous improvement accreditation cycles.
