LDOC captures media attention
Furman University celebrated its Last Day of Classes (LDOC) April 23 with traditional flair. Seniors, sporting all manner of floatation devices, took a dip in the fountain in front of James B. Duke Library. Snow cones, a surfing simulator, music, food trucks and more added to the festivities. News station FOX Carolina spoke to students and Furman’s Nancy Cooper about the LDOC tradition on campus, and WYFF News 4 covered the event from the air.
