John Quinn talks birdsong on science podcast Curious by Nature

What’s John Quinn’s favorite bird call? The professor of biology, who uses birdsong in multiple areas of the country to study the health and biodiversity of ecosystems, discloses his fav winged call in a new podcast called “Curious by Nature,” a production of the company Newswise. Quinn, a conservation biologist, talks about the importance of his work and the importance of birds to farmlands, food production and our neighborhoods. “Curious by Nature” talks with scientists from a multitude of disciplines about their work and what keeps them curious. Quinn’s work was featured in the Fall 2021 issue of Furman Magazine.
