Furman University’s campus gets a nod in Architectural Digest’s roundup of “The 64 Prettiest College Campuses in America.” The magazine highlights a bit of history about the Italianate bell tower on campus, a replica of the one built in 1854 that was too fragile to move from Furman’s old downtown digs to its new location about 100 years later.
