Go Further: A Journey of Exploration and Enlightenment

Furman University is proud to announce the launch of its latest podcast, “Go Further”. This exciting new initiative is set to be a platform for deeper questions and compelling narratives that will enrich the hearts, minds, and communities of its listeners.

The goal of “Go Further” is to reach a broader audience and elevate the opportunities for Furman’s Graduate Studies programs. This podcast will feature professors, alumni, students, and community partners from all of the university’s graduate programs, including Strategic Design, Advocacy and Equity Studies, Teaching, Education, and Community Engaged Medicine.

Each episode of “Go Further” will delve into the unique and fascinating stories of these individuals, exploring the subjects they are passionate about and the impact they are making in their fields. Whether it’s through in-depth interviews with Furman faculty, alumni spotlights, or student perspectives, listeners will be exposed to a diverse range of voices and perspectives.

The idea for “Go Further” began with a conversation between Graduate Assistant McNeill Mullikin, Graduate Studies Marketing Strategist Matt Bowersox, and Strategic Design Professor Emily Price. They saw a need for a platform that could showcase the work of Furman’s graduate programs and provide a space for thoughtful conversation and exploration.

With the launch of “Go Further”, Furman University is setting out on a journey of exploration and enlightenment. Each episode will challenge listeners to think deeply about the world around them and to consider new perspectives on the subjects they care about.
