Students in Dr. Lipscomb’s EDU 432 Integrating Curriculum and Technology course spent the morning on a virtual technology visit with students and teachers at Fairforest Elementary School in Spartanburg School District 6. Furman Education Department Alums Ashley Blackwelder (BA ’03) and Heather Register (BA ’05) led the “trip” where we also got a glimpse of Greg Peterson (BA ’19) , Addie Robards (BA ’20), and Ellie White’s (BA ’19) classrooms. We were able to hear from teachers and students as they explored the stock market, multiplication, outer space, business and money, and animals through a plethora of technology tools.
