Paladin Pitch Competition
Thursday, April 13 – 4:00 P.M. – 5:30 P.M.
Location: McAlister Auditorium
No entry fee, registration is required.
The Hill Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship presents the annual statewide pitch competition for Furman entrepreneurs. Students spend four months working to develop their pitches for the Paladin Pitch event. The stakes are high to secure over $10,000 in investments and support for the winning idea. Learn more.
15th Annual Furman Engaged
Friday, April 14 – 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.

Furman Engaged signals our institution’s long history and commitment to engaged learning. The symposium provides students the opportunity to publicly share their work with parents, peers, faculty, staff, and friends of Furman. Did you graduate from Furman between 2007 – 2022? We invite you to celebrate 15 years of Furman Engaged with food, drinks, and music. Hosted by Young Benefactors and Young Alumni Council, an exclusive event for young alumni and Furman seniors, this is a celebration that is guaranteed to provide an evening of networking and fun.
Furman Showcase
Saturday, April 15 – 9:45 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.
Check-In begins at 9:00 A.M. at McAlister Auditorium

Do you miss being in the classroom? This is your opportunity to learn more about Furman of today and how our commitment to rigorous academics and the whole student continues to shape leaders of tomorrow to provide solutions to real-world issues.
The Furman Showcase features more than 160 Furman Faculty and Staff presenters delivering 78 sessions during this one-day conference. You can choose to attend a maximum of four (4) presentations. A link to register for individual sessions in the Furman Showcase will be provided in the event confirmation email.
Lunch on the Mall
Saturday, April 15 – 12:00 P.M. – 1:30 P.M.
Location: Milford Mall
No entry fee, registration is required.
You are invited to dine under tents located on Milford Mall between 12:00 P.M. and 1:30 P.M. Visit with former classmates, faculty, staff, and new friends on Saturday. Bon Appetit will be offering a buffet lunch for registered Furman Showcase attendees. Milford Mall is located in front of the James B. Duke Library and adjacent to the Joseph Vaughn Plaza.
The Purple Party
Saturday, April 15 – 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.
Location: Roberts Rugby Field, Timmons complex
No entry fee, registration is required.
Join us, all adults are welcome, to celebrate a significant milestone in the life of the campaign and share a toast to Furman’s Third Century! The Purple Party will include delicious food stations, a mix of beverages, featured attractions, a tasting event, and a lively program that will spark everyone’s fantastic Furman pride. You really don’t want to miss this special event with your Furman family!
FUSAB Spring Concert
Saturday, April 15 – 8:00 P.M. – 11:00 P.M.
Location: Amphitheater
Artist and ticket details coming in early March.
FUSAB presents the 25th annual spring concert. Alumni, including former FUSAB leadership, and friends of Furman are invited to attend the concert after The Purple Party.
