Reading Circle: Think Again: The Power of Knowing What You Do’t Know

January 18, 2022 @ 11:30 am - 12:45 pm

With Think Again: The Power of Knowing What You Don’t Know, author Adam Grant suggests that intelligence is usually seen as the ability to think and learn, but in a rapidly changing world, there’s another set of cognitive skills that might matter more: the ability to rethink and unlearn. If knowledge is power, Grant argues, then knowing what we don’t know is wisdom. Join us in our spring reading circle for faculty and academic staff for a monthly discussion (four total) of this provocative book.

The reading circle will meet for three sessions during the spring semester.  Meetings are scheduled for the third Tuesday of the month (Jan. 18, Feb. 15 and Mar. 15) from 11:30-12:45 in the Duke Library, Haynsworth Room #128.

Register for the circle here and the FDC will send you a copy of the book before our first session.

To request an accommodation or for inquiries about accessibility, please contact Linette Reyes (linette.reyes-berberena@furman.edu).
