Designed to facilitate conversations among students, faculty, and staff about the social identities that often put us in conflict with one another, the Intergroup Dialogue program fosters conversations that analyze contemporary issues related to social and political identity conflict through mutually respectful dialogue. You are invited to join us for this Lunch & Learn event as we focus on insight gained by program facilitators about both the necessary preconditions for productive intergroup dialogue and pedagogical strategies that yield affirming yet critical conversation. Facilitated by Claire Whitlinger, Stephanie Hesbacher, and Erik Anderson participants will have an opportunity to think through opportunities to adapt or introduce a course activity, lecture, or assignment to foster fruitful dialogue across difference in courses or programs.
