The purpose of the Furman Advantage Network Club (FAN Club) program is to engage alumni who are interested in strengthening the Furman community in their area. Join us in fostering tradition, affiliation, and pride in support of Furman University.

FAQ

The purpose of the Furman Advantage Network Club Program, or FAN Club, is to engage life-long members who are interested in building and cultivating the Furman community in their area in order to enhance their sense of tradition, affiliation and pride that will support the mission of Furman University. The goal is to strengthen the relationship of the alumni with the life of the University, while providing opportunities for alumni to participate in programs that encourage professional and social networking.

You are assigned to a FAN Club based on where you live. Typically, FAN Clubs encompass a 30-60 mile radius from the city center, welcoming alumni, parents, and friends of Furman. You will receive emails about events relevant to your local FAN Club. You can also check this website to explore events beyond your local area and are welcome to attend gatherings around the country.

Gather at least three alumni who are interested in forming a FAN Club. These three individuals will be the core group that will lead the initiative.
Contact Jane McBride ’91 via the following web form.
The core group, along with the Alumni Office, will be responsible for communicating the desire to form a FAN Club in your area.
Host a FAN Club Launch event to promote the new FAN Club.

Check your junk email folder first. If you see emails from Furman, please whitelist these emails so you will receive all communications from Furman. If you do not see emails in your junk folder, then email alumni@furman.edu and we can determine if you unsubscribed from previous emails and can resubscribe you. One other option may be that you moved recently and did not update your address on the Furman Alumni website. Once you update your address, you will begin receiving emails regarding upcoming events based on where you live.
