Join the Lakeside Concert Band and guest artists to celebrate the Sounds of Summer!

Thursday Evenings

Music By The Lake
Sue Samuels, director

Relax at our beautiful Furman Amphitheater by the Furman University Lake and enjoy a cross-section of Big Band, Jazz, International, Contemporary, and traditional band and orchestra favorites. All concerts are FREE and open to the public. Bring your family and friends!

Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. every Thursday from May 30 through August 1 (see schedule below for any changes). Bring your lawn chairs, a picnic dinner and a blanket, and get ready to enjoy the sounds of the summer!

In case of inclement weather, the concerts will be moved indoors to McAlister Auditorium. Contact the Music Department office at 864-294-2086 for details. If you call after 5 p.m., there will be a recording on the voicemail providing information about the concert location and performers for the week.
