Bank of America Sustainability Fellows

The Bank of America Sustainability Fellowship provides a renewable $7000 fellowship to incoming Furman students engaged in sustainability-related projects on campus and the Greenville, South Carolina community. Furman brings one fellow to campus each year who demonstrates leadership in sustainability. To learn more and apply, see the Furman admissions website here and the press release here.

Caitlin Kelliher ('12), the first Bank of America Sustainability Fellow, is currently spending the fall semester studying away in China. Mellon Sustainability Fellows

During the summer of 2009 and continuing through this academic year, the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation funded four student fellows working in sustainability on campus.

Anna Strick ('11) has been heavily involved in the Furman Farm through her Mellon Fellow work as the student farm manager as well as her leadership in Furman in the Garden (FIG). Andrea Triplitt ('11) is currently working to develop a sustainability volunteer network and Jenni Asman ('11) created a sustainability information session for first-year student orientation. Grant Allard ('12) has been heavily involved with Sustainable Connections, the umbrella organization connecting sustainability-related groups on campus.
